I found this really interesting article about how vets are now being encouraged to include diet or nutrition as part of their assessment of your pets overall health. However there's a caveat here, the research that it took to come to this obvious conclusion was funded by a pet food manufacturer who is now trying to push their new substandard therapeutic food on vets...and subsequently YOU.

While looking for a good kennel to house my new best friend while I may my be away for extended periods I came across this service in Toronto which caught my eye. What stands out about it is that it is run by woman who is passionate about dogs, especially large breeds. She also sells a really neat (can I still say that?) line of home made collars and dogs accessories. Even thought she is a bit far for me if her services are what I’m looking for (and so far they seem to be) I’d be more than willing ...

While researching breeders I found these wonderful videos made by a breeder in New Hampshire. These videos are breaking down any resistance (however little there may be) I may have toward getting another Golden.
