      Thanks, Claudette, for posting this. It’s a good reminder that what’s okay for humans is often dangerous for dogs.

      I had heard this before but to see it in print with a dog that had died from eating the gum really hit home with me. We all know about chocolate, raisins, grapes, onions and now there are so many more to worry about. It takes such a small amount to make them ill or die.
